We start of this Thursday with the 3 of Staffs- reassuring us that success is possible with our projects now, however we must not sit on our hands about it. A quote from the Universe by Mike Dooley says "Thinking big but acting small is the same as......thinking small". So-more than likely you have more to accomplish with your projects. The figure in this card is cheering you on to make new plans, bust a move,do something,no matter how much of a baby step it is. Now in going about this,be sure that you ask yourself what you really want to manifest in work and relationships. Meditate on this,do some stream of consciousness writing,and/or make a list of what rings true in your heart before acting on it. Work and relationships will go smoother if you do. The figure in the card stands on the edge of a cliff (nature's peak) and grasps a yellow staff with his right hand, holding it high. This suggests that the individual is well grounded and prepared to engage in Spiritual work that will cause the ship of his unconscious nature to discover many treasures within. This card embodies the integration of various talents and abilities,so if you find yourself entertaining interesting combinations, don't discount them! Be sure to be open to any help offered in projects, and remember that the next move is always influenced by the wisdom and experience one has gained. Go into the next phase with the confidence gained from previous successes! The Page of Cups announces it's time to love yourself with totality. One of the most difficult lessons for us to learn in this "having a human experience" is to love ourselves completely, with no exceptions,no "I do.....but" about it. The fish rising out of his cup represents an ongoing transformation in Spiritual development. The fish is looking at the Page not only eye to eye,but it also drawing attention to the page wearing a headress symbolizing the awakening or further opening of the crown, third eye,and throat chakras. This card conveys that being able to balance our dreams and desires with being sensible and taking practical steps towards them that are doable now will reap rewards down the road. The shadow side of this card is being narrow minded to a particular point of view and/or wanting an instant big change in life,or getting lost in wishes and aspirations but not taking any action to get there. Remember that today,9/6, Saturn turns direct in Capricorn once again. The Wheel of Fortune appears again for this week (and I shuffled the cards very well!) As Shine Tribe creator Brittney Carmichael says about this card,"we're at the top of a cycle". (She even drew this card for her weekly "Woo Woo Wed. Card reading!)
All systems are go in a wonderful forward movement. Everything is on the upswing. The wheel of the year continues to spin. The orange sphinx at the top of the card represents our Divine Self...........our conscious control in manifestation, the sword, discrimination,(being sure we're manifesting what we want, not that which we don't want) and having the sword over the heart chakra area of the Sphinx symbolizes compassion, for ourselves and others. Orange is the color of the Sacral chakra, and the Sphinx could be telling us that in using our creativity in flow with our Divine Self, using discrimination and compassion with it,is a wonderful formula for manifesting anything! Now for all the gung-ho of the card, there may be bumps in the road- people disagreeing with your plans, perhaps a detour, something like that. Be aware however,of the opportunities in what appears to be negative happenings. This is the Universe getting you to turn in a slightly different but better direction in the long haul. Also,be aware of what cycle you or loved ones are in right now to make the overall flow more harmonious.
